Seward
is a small, picturesque
port town, situated
at the head of Resurrection
Bay on the Kenai Peninsula.
Surviving earthquakes,
tsunamis and many Alaskan
winters, Seward is one
of Alaska’s oldest and
most scenic communities
and is known as the
'Gateway to Kenai Fjords
National Park'.
Seward is located 126
miles south of Anchorage,
and is easily reached
by visitors via the
Seward Highway Scenic
Byway, the Alaska Railroad,
or by bus, air, or cruise
ship. |
